Asheville, NC
Asheville is home of some of the best
mountain bike riding in the
country. Over twenty years ago I read an article in MBA about Mt
Pisgah being a "Top 10" trail in the country and that was all it
took for me and a friend to abandon our friends Spring Break trip to
Florida and head north. Well, it's north for us. We were not
disappointed, Sleepy Gap Hollow and Bent Creek remain some of the
best trails around. With such a strong history Asheville is also on
the forefront of modern riding. The Asheville Urban Sprawl is a
sample of that attracting top pros like Aaron Chase. Urban meets
mountain at this event as riders of all ages get together for fun
and excitement. Pictured are Aaron Chase, Scott Wilson, Chris
