This mag has it all, old school, new wave and today's tech. Photos galore and classic articles from skater's that have shaped skateboarding into what it is today.

Condition:
This magazine is in great condition, near mint. Some of the pages are folded on the corners and faded due to age, but none are torn or missing.

Other:
This is from my personal collection, signed in my presence by the editor himself, Tony Hawk. After a hiatus, SkateBoarder Magazine made a comeback and Tony Hawk was asked to be the editor. This was the first issue and it was originally meant to be annual collector's issue. Things changed after that with the success of the mag. So, it is packed with history and unusual stuff that you want find anywhere else. Like Blaze Blouin's slob fastplant at Kelly's (see pic), Peter Hewitt's super lofty and stylish stalefish (see pic), Brad Staba's long, kinky rail, Airwalk sequence ad of Tony Hawk doing the full loop, an ad with the late Tim Brauch, In Memory of Kit Erickson, Jay Adams, Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta, classic editorial and too much more sick stuff to mention.

Skateboarding has evolved enormously from the early days until now. The FUN and Thrill are still the same though. Yesterday we did carves, grinds and airs; Today it's all about the ollie and the kickflip in one shape or the other. Kids throwing themselves down HANDRAILS, off ROOFs and over GAPS.

On this page you will find skateboard items from my personal collection gathered over 25 years.
From the late 70's through the 80's, 90's and into turn of the CENTURY
Skateboarder Magazine fed my early addiction to skating
and you will find some of the original issues here.
Early idols included Jay Adams, Tony Alva and Lonnie Toft.

Skateboards and decks from names like Z-Flex, Alva, Powell Peralta, Dogtown and Variflex. 
Wheels from Road Rider and Sims and trucks from Tracker.

Videos have been a big part of skateboarding since the days of
Future Primitive and the Bones Brigade. Remember Tony Hawk, Cab, Lance and Rodney?
How about Wheels of Fire from Santa Cruz? Natas...Kendall, Chris Miller, Gator???
