Our Vision
atbmx.com mission statement

We believe in riding bikes, whatever your style. If you share the love for bikes that we do, then this website is made for you. If you want to grow this newest form of bike riding we encourage you to contribute to our site and promote it to your friends. This site will operate as long as we are riding our bike. When that stops the site stops; Unless there is someone else to carry it on. So, get involved and use the site as a place to bond with biking and others. You can help pioneer our emerging sport, or you can let it sit dormant until taken over by corporate suits who don't even ride.

We encourage you to ride your bike everywhere, as long as you respect others and their property. Build trails, ramps and tracks; Hold jams, contests and parties; Come together as a community of riders, whether you ride a 20" or a big wheel 26" bike.

This site frowns on politics and will do everything we can to keep them to a minimum. Sure there may be some favoritism, but we will focus on riding. We are a small operation and operate on a slim budget and schedule, so what you see is what you get. If we feel we are spending too much time behind the computer, then we may go on hiatus riding our bikes.

We envision a world full of places to ride. Trails in every neighborhood, parks and tracks in every town, and events for riders every weekend. Riding will be second nature, people will ride earlier and later in life. Schools will adapt riding into their curriculum. Bike companies will sponsor amateur teams and promote events as a part of their business. What a wonderful world!

Ride On! ed
